I first met these guys at wedding of their friends Duncan & Nikita which they MC’d. Both were part of the wedding party too, so I got to spend most of the day with them too and straight away I was captivated by their glowing personalities and bright outlook on everything going on around them. They are both outspoken but intimate at the same time, so it goes with out saying how well they match up with each other and the excellent relationship they share. Their love for each other infects everyone around them, which was evident throughout their big day by all the stories I heard and the giant smiles that followed them around.
The day started at the Fairway Hotel in Randburg where they got ready. The atmosphere was so calm and collected, everyone just enjoying their time together ready to celebrate later on. Then off we went to the GodFirst Church in Parktown North. The décor was incredible and so well suited to the wooden arches and pillars inside this already stunning place of worship. Then came the real fun as we headed into Maboneng Precinct and the Nelson Mandela Bridge for our photos session. They killed it! Along with their massive bridal party and the incredible friendship they all share, I had probably the most fine I’ve had shooting this year.
The night was finished off at the again so stunningly decorated venue, The Warhouse, at the Buzz Centre in Fourways. These guys held nothing back and hats off need to go to Sivu for organising and putting together her own wedding dream and ofcourse to Lester for his courageous moral support!
I already know these two will have a marraige filled with adventure and captivating stories and I wish them nothing but the sweetest happiness together and look forward to seeing them grow!
You and I cannot change ourselves, but instead we can spend time searching for the one who can change us.
