Probably the coldest wedding I have ever shot. Close to sub-zero temperatures, misty plains and some rain to boot. Not something you want your wedding day to be remembered by. However that didn't seem to damper anyone's spirit. I first met these guys at wedding of their friends Duncan & Nikita which they MC'd. Both were part of the wedding party too, so I got to spend most of the day with them too and straight away I was captivated by their glowing personalities and bright outlook on everything going on around them. Having a little Greek blood in me, on my mother's side, always makes me point my ears up when anything Greece related comes my way. The biggest example would be when Greece won the Euro back in 2004 and for a good few months I walked around telling the world how Greek I was ecstatic that finally everyone could see how powerful the Greeks were! It seems lately that I am a bit of a rain charmer with nearly all my weddings lately being blessed with torrential downpours. My final wedding of 2016! Out of the 32 I shot in the year, to end it off with the beautiful nature that these two have was something special that I will always remember. Chris is Brittany aren't what you would traditionally expect form a wedding pair. From our first meeting I felt like I their client and not the other way round. I sound like a broken record at times, but I have to say it. No matter where your wedding is, or what your wedding looks like, if you surround yourself with the right people you will always have the wedding of your dreams! Kelly & Kerryn did just that. I don't often get many Tshwane weddings and its a pity because it really is a beautiful city to shoot in. The beautiful nautical themed wedding was held at a very unique gem in Derdepoort just off the old Zambesi Drive. Zambezi point is an offbeat rustic venue, with loads of opportunity and flare.
