Rosemary Hill seems to be seeing me a lot lately. No complaints though, it is a beautiful venue. I love shooting in personal spaces. There is already a story there and by shooting my clients in a place that already holds memories for them helps to build on their adventure together. Enthusiasm always breeds interesting results. Positive awareness, creative research and an undying love for each other added to that enthusiasm is all it takes for a good photo session and Chris and Tahlita ticked all of the above. Way to cool for me. These two have the walk, the talk, the everything. Put them into the downtown of an amazing city and you have instant magic. Warren & Kelly are two very smart people. Only fitting that they should find each other. They have their own special connection, Warren with his cool, calm mysterious demeanour and Kelly who can barely take her eyes off of him, with her total bad a** look that she pulls off so well. From the brief background story I got, it seems these two were made for each other. No frills or fuss, just good old fashioned love. Their wedding will be one to remember.

The good old Jo'burg district. Never disappoints with its gritty streets. An early morning visit and you have all you need for the perfect photo session. Grant & Kim seem to have missed their calling in front of the camera. The two look like they walked straight off a film set, despite the 6h30am call time I gave them. Their chemistry is electric and they have so much to spare. Grant has such a strong character and Kim makes it look like she walks on a cloud. It was an amazing session and with two very rad people. Wow do these guys work hard! Just to book this session was a challenge because these two are always moving, always doing something, always helping someone. They seem to enjoy it what they do though because they talk about work like its their favourite child. Allistaire and Genna have been together for years, but still have that fresh in love feeling that seems to bounce off each other. They fit together like puzzle pieces and don't hide it either. It was a cold wet start to the morning for Chris & Chane. It rained through the night and the early morning temp was not helped by the brisk breeze flowing through the surrounding trees. Despite all that these two brightened up the day with their contagious positivity and their pure enthusiasm to have the best time possible. From squeezing their bare toes through wet cold mud to chasing zebras for a backdrop, huge blast all the way.
