It not often that I do these types of posts, but our 2019 was absolutely insane. We were blessed with so many amazing couples, got to visit some incredible new venues, visited two new countries(even if it was just Swaziland and Mauritius) and most importantly got to be a part of many amazing memories with legendary people. Rosemary Hill seems to be seeing me a lot lately. No complaints though, it is a beautiful venue. It becomes even more interesting when you have two people who seem to break the mold in front of the camera. Gavin and Lindsay are way beyond the norm. They make their own rules. Not because they want to be different but because its how they want to do it. There is no pressure on them to please anyone but each other, and it is so refreshing to capture this on camera. I love shooting in personal spaces. There is already a story there and by shooting my clients in a place that already holds memories for them helps to build on their adventure together. Its a huge bonus that I get to be involved in helping to create a new memory for them and add a chapter to their story. Byron and Ashley already have such old souls. Enthusiasm always breeds interesting results. Positive awareness, creative research and an undying love for each other added to that enthusiasm is all it takes for a good photo session and Chris and Tahlita ticked all of the above. It was a well spent Sunday afternoon as we chased the quickly falling sun. A successful chase, as we used every ounce of the golden sun provided. Way to cool for me. These two have the walk, the talk, the everything. Put them into the downtown of an amazing city and you have instant magic. Warren & Kelly are two very smart people. Only fitting that they should find each other. They have their own special connection, Warren with his cool, calm mysterious demeanour and Kelly who can barely take her eyes off of him, with her total bad a** look that she pulls off so well. From the brief background story I got, it seems these two were made for each other. No frills or fuss, just good old fashioned love. Their wedding will be one to remember.
